An all-round successful and very informative event: with an inquisitive audience and intensive technical presentations, the focus was on the basics of DWA-A/M 102. It is precisely this exchange that is important – because the implementation of rainwater treatment requires not only knowledge of the regulations, but above all practical solutions that can be reliably applied in combined and separation systems.
Particularly positive: the wide range of topics relating to stormwater treatment, dimensioning and operation – from the classification of areas to specific measures for reducing material loads.
A highlight after the lunch break was our “espresso lecture”: short, to the point and with a clear practical focus on flow regulators and discharge controls – in cooperation with UFT. The quick impulse showed how much potential there is in well thought-out throttle concepts when hydraulic requirements, operational safety and ease of maintenance are considered together.
